I grew up in England in Birmingham (not recommended as a vacation spot!). My degree was in French and European Studies at Sussex University, followed by a post-graduate certificate in Education at Manchester University.
I lived in France for a year in Chambéry, in the Savoie region, and taught English at the Lycée Vaugelas. I also worked in England for a number of years teaching French, German, and English as a foreign language.
Wanderlust took my husband and me through South America for 9 months then north to England via California. This was when we discovered the joys of blue skies and sunshine. The attractions of the West Coast brought us here to live in 1982. Credentialed here in French and Art, I was fortunate to join Stone Valley Middle School in 1989 and have been enjoying teaching here ever since!
