Born and raised in New York, I have lived in the Bay Area for over 25 years. Although I miss my east coast family tremendously, I certainly don’t miss the hot, humid summers and cold winters. My husband and I visit the “Big Apple” and Long Island as often as time permits never running out of exciting places to see and people to visit.

Our three grown children all attended Stone Valley Middle School as well as Monte Vista High School. They received an education that has served them well in college and beyond. I am proud to be part of an educational community I hold so high in esteem.

I received a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from Chapman University. My sixth grade Core students continue to impress me with their inquiring minds and eagerness to learn. Each day is a new adventure that I enjoy tremendously. It’s exhilarating to watch the students grow in both mind and body as they journey through middle school.

In my spare time I enjoy hiking with my husband and dog, “Marley” (Chiweenie), reading, listening to music, playing games, and going to the movies.

• Homework is copied into the student Timetracker each Monday.
• It is the responsibility of each student to change Timetracker assignments as posted on the homework board.
• Reading logs, with parent signatures, are due every Monday.
• Students are required to read 30 minutes each night for homework.
