I grew up in Walnut Creek attending Las Lomas High School. From there I attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where I earned my BS in Home Economics and a Single Subject teaching credential. I have been teaching for 35 years, the past 33 have been with San Ramon Valley Unified School District.

The middle school student captured my heart early on in my career. I love their energy, enthusiasm for learning, and their willingness to try something new. I feel blessed to be a part of the Stone Valley community, and eager to meet my new students.

When I’m not teaching I love to spend my time outdoors. In the open space running my dog Patty, the mountains riding my off-road motorcycle, fishing, skiing, or in my backyard gardening. My passion for sewing has been a life long hobby.
