Ms. Lawver was born and raised in Danville, and was privileged to attend Stone Valley for sixth grade. She finished middle school up at Charlotte Wood, and graduated from San Ramon Valley High School. Ms. Lawver earned her BA from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was a proud member of the Cal Band. For her teaching credential she attend Chapman University. She holds a single-subject credential in English, History, and Music, and is also CLAD certified. She earned her Masters in Education from Chapman University as well.
Ms. Lawver has been teaching core at Stone Valley since 2003. Her favorite thing about Stone Valley is the sense of community, she enjoys seeing the siblings of her previous students come through the school. She also enjoys being able to work and spend time with the other great teachers here.
In her spare time, Ms. Lawver loves to read, watch movies and spend time with her friends. She enjoys sewing, knitting, crocheting and other crafts. She loves her cats, Willow, Moe and Muffin, dog, Augustus, and also loves being able to spend time with her niece, Zoe.
