Kids Who Care

Kids Who Care

There are a lot of amazing students at Stone Valley who are making a difference in our community and the lives of others. We created this page to feature students who are doing doing charitable drives or raising money for charities.  It is our hope that this webpage will bring awareness to the various causes that our students support, while at the same time, helping our students reach their goals.

If a student has a charitable event that they would like featured on this webpage, they can fill out this form.

Band-Aids for a Smile

About This Project: This semester I am hosting a drive called Band-aids for a smile. I chose to do this project because I was informed about how Children’s Hospital of Oakland had wanted to get character band-aids for their patients, but did not have the money to do so. My mother’s patient works there and has told my mom about how sad their younger patients are when receiving a plain brown band-aid after their shots or other medical treatments. This just sparked my attention because when I was younger I always received a character band-aid after I was given a shot. This small token always put a smile on my face. This project will put a smile on many faces at Children’s Hospital Oakland.

How You Can Help: Donate character and colorful band-aids in the bin in office. You can also help by dropping off money in the office as well.

This Drive Runs Through December 21, 2016.

About This Project: I am working on a school project that has a purpose.  I want to combine my interest of photography and my passion for helping children become more active.  I hope you can help me in this goal.

How You Can Help: Please consider donating to KaBoom!.  This organization builds playgrounds for children in need and so much more!

If you donate directly to KaBOOM!, send me a private message at with your address and I will send you some of my beautiful picture cards.  I've taken all the pictures for the cards and I think you'll love them.

For as little as $10 (which is tax-deductible) you can help me help KaBOOM! They build playgrounds, award grants, work with cities, and do much more to ensure all kids get play!

Please join me in my fundraising efforts!
